I began my apprenticeship in academia as a peer tutor for the College of Santa Fe's Student Support Services/TRIO Program (program of academic support for first generation, low-income students and students with learning differences or physical disabilities). I tutored students in writing, biology, religion, philosophy, political science, literature, psychology, Spanish and cultural history.
