I ask questions, I make math fun!! I draw pictures. The assinments are OUR assignments the students are not alone. Math was hard for me too I GET why they are stuck!!
I work with students of various backgrounds, aging from pre teen to retirement age, many with learning disabilities, many who are also ahead of their peers. I have a resource room and lesson plans for each group of students seperated by subject. I help them with Math, time management and note taking. I work closely with other administrative staff and allow students to discover their potential.

I believe that every student learns differently. I enjoy working one-on-one with students to give them an explanation that is meaningful to them. I also try to present new material in a way that is tailored to the learning style of the student. I continually check for understanding during lessons. Above all, I try to be positive!
