My comments on tutoring Elementary Social Studies : Seven years of teaching experience in kindergarten through eighth grade.

A wide variety of educational experiences as a teacher, from international schools in Scandanavia to a one room schoolhouse in rural southeastern Montana. i take a more relaxed route of teaching. i have found that if you sit there and point out faults and appear like you expect them to get it right on the first try it will turn the student away from you and cause them to hate the subject and ultimately fail. i take a more friendly route. talk about myself admit faults that i have when they appear. i try to become friends with the student in question and add fun with learning. if there is something specific that is needed extra attention to i will ask them to do the problem and point out there faults. i do not do everything for them. i let them test there knowledge and provide support when needed.
