As an adult I realized that my true calling was teaching, and I advanced my education to become an educator. I am a third generation teacher and have a passion to help young students see their potential and achieve their dreams. Over the last eleven year I have spent 10 years in the classroom teaching eighth grade Language Arts, tenth grade through senior English. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from a private, Catholic university. My time there taught me to be not only determined in what I do, but also ethical. During my college years, I spent a year tutoring students in English and Psychology courses. I am open to working with any level of student in English/Reading/Grammar/Literature and with high school and college level Psychology students.

I have experience in every level of student. My first degree (A.S.) was in Engineering and I worked at higher level math, including a college Teacher's Assistant in Calculus. I went on to obtain a B.S. in Education. I took the coursework for Middle and High School endorsements in 4 other subject areas. I work in Remedial Education at a local university currently.
