I love learning & teaching children of all ages & of all learning styles. I am a very dedicated, patient, & passionate teacher. I believe all students can reach their own individual needs with the appropriate learning skills, positive influence, & strong foundation. As a student in high school, I always have had a passion for math, as well as a passion to teach. I earned my Associate's Degree in Math Education from Mary Holmes College & went on to pursue my Bachelor's Degree from Mississippi State University. Even while pursuing my degrees, I was a Substitute Teacher for the West Point School District for almost 4 years. I then became a Teacher Assistant for the Starkville School District, and now I am a Pre-K Teacher for Oktibbeha COunty School District. As a soon to be graduate of the Counseling program, I hold education to the highest level. I have also earned a bachelors degree in psychology, which has given me an important background in my study of counseling. I have had a lot of general education classes which give me a broad area of study. I have never been a teacher, but I do have a younger sibling. I would like to say that although I have never tutored directly, I do have experience in helping others in many of their life areas including school.
