Tutoring for Elementary Children

I am very patient and laid back. I don't like to stress anyone out, including myself. I will explain something as many times as it takes for the child to understand.
I have never been a tutor before, but I am in college right now for a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have great math and English skills and would like to put them to use tutoring children. I am patient and great with children. I have worked with children for a very long time. I took courses in high school, where we ran a preschool and were in charge of teaching lessons. I have also helped my mother with her daycare for over a decade.

I began homeschooling my children in 1993. My older son was in 8th grade, my younger son was in 4th grade, my oldest daughter was in Kindergarten, and my twin daughters were 2 years old. My older son graduated with 2 bachelor degrees after spending a year in France as an English teacher in a high school. My younger son graduated with a double degree and a minor. A Little Bit About Me...

Currently I am employed as a home-based Family Specialist in Social Work. I teach parenting to persons in their homes. As I teach adults new parenting methods, I also teach children how to respond more appropriately to their parents, thus creating a win/win situation.
