Since I graduated with a business degree in accounting,I have been working in that field since 1978. I have been in a leadership role in the manufacturing business area and as a result have mentored many employees who either worked for me directly or indirectly in the accounting field. In my later years, I have become a tax preparation professional. I am also studying for my insurance and my securities license. As I approach my college graduation, I have realized how fortunate I am to have been given the opportunity to attend college. I understood the importance of understanding math in life early on and my Finance degree only validated that notion. Early this year, I began tutoring advanced math to middle school kids and found it to be a rejuvenating to see young minds eagerly waiting to be academically challenged.
During my course as a math tutor, I’ve found one on one tutoring to be most effective.
