While studying at SUNY ESF I held a position as a teaching assistant for Western Civilization. This involved grading exams and papers, preparing and giving lectures, and holding office hours to assist students with any questions or concerns they may have had. I also spent time volunteering to teach and after school science club through ESF Outreach for elementary / middle school aged children. I feel as though every student will have their own niche. They will have a special subject that they enjoy the most and one that they despise. I taught Office Technology to adults for ten years. I have been subbing K-6 for the past two years in local school districts.
