In 2010, I contracted with the Hamilton County Board of Education, HCBE, and successfully taught 3 courses: 2 Algebra II courses and 1 Introduction to Calculus at Red Bank High School. During the 2010-2011 school year: I am a subsitute teacher for HCBE, where I teach different courses in 15 schools for HCBE, both middle school and high school. The first thing I do with any new student is identify his or her learning style so that I may incorporate those specific strategies into my lesson for an effective and personalized learning experience. My lessons are very interactive, and a main aspect is to nurture critical thinking. After setting up a situation, I will pose problems for the student to solve. Critical thinking is necessary in order to navigate foreign grammar and truly understand the material.
