I have exceptional typing skills and am well-versed in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Windows XP and Windows Vista. My teaching/training experience includes 9 years of instruction to dental technicians from 60 branches in the United States and Canada. These trainings took me all over the U.S. providing 2-5 day training courses on a CAD/CAM dental machine. Over the past year, I served as an Americorps volunteer in an inner city charter school with an emphasis on character education. I worked one on one with students helping them with math, reading, and science skills. I assisted in classroom teaching of mini lessons too. I also helped with their after-school program, I also created supplemental study guides and multimedia software to help students to improve their study skills. I graduated from IUP with a degree in Biology Education. I am certified in Biology and Middle School Science. I taught for one semester at Central Bucks School District where I taught Academic Biology, Astronomy and Oceanography. I then taught two years at Gateway School District where I taught 8th grade physical science. I now have a permanent position at Yough School District where I teach 7th grade Life Science.
