I've been teaching physics labs for 3 years to calculus based and algebra based physics students at Utah Valley University. I have served as a Writing Tutor with UVU for five years now, tutoring in all genres. In April I will graduate with my BS in English and Creative Writing. I worked as a tutor of writing at Austin Community College in TX from 1/07-12/07. Currently I serve as a TA for an Intro to Creative Writing class at UVU in which I grade half of student work and teach once a month. I was accepted to the University of Houston's MFA program this fall, where I will also teach undergraduate composition. I served as Editor-in-Chief of UVU's literary magazine entitle, Touchstones. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at UofU and BYU I tutored and was tutored myself. While attending BYU I worked in the student advisement center part-time, mentoring and helping students develop their schedules, and tutored them in subject matter from courses I'd already completed. I served as a volunteer representative for the LDS church for two years in Denmark and Iceland. I speak fluent Danish and Norwegian, and I taught extensively on many topics to all age groups while over there. I've tutored other students, friends, and family in math and math-related fields(up to calculus III level math). I excelled at Math and English composition in school. At my current job I train new team members in restaurant operations as well as handle restaurant finances. I currently work as a manager for Romano's Macaroni Grill in Provo, Murray, and Salt Lake.
