I like to take a holistic view to my teaching style and see what the children need out of a teacher. Sometimes I prefer to work visually and hands on, where other times I feel the children learn best from reading and going through the book. I like to be patient and take a more relaxed approach with children so that they feel comfortable with me. I have worked for the past 6 years with children in school settings. I did a lot of tutoring work during my school counseling internship. I tutored 3 different middle school girls who needed help in all subjects. I also helped tutor 9th grade students who failed all of their first semester classes. I have expierence in classrooms teaching from my undergraduate work. I spent a semester accumlating hours, creating and implementing lesson plans. I have a lot of experience with psychology and history as those were my secondary education subjects.
