I have a Ph.D. in Political Science/ International Relations from the University of Washington in Seattle (1995). Plus I have extensive experience teaching both at the high school and university level. This experience includes institutions in Haiti, Mexico and the United States. I am 100% fluent in Spanish and was born in Panama (also a US citizen). After teaching on military bases in Japan and South Korea on and off for the past five years, I need to be in the United States for family reasons, in Nevada. Creating Independent Learners

My experience dates back to when I was in high school in the early 80's tutoring students and family members. I've also taught classes on Management of Aggressive Behavior / Appled Non-Violence to mental health professionals throughout the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding communities. After graduating college, I began working for a non-profit agency, tutoring kids with behavioral and substance abuse issues. There I tutored students in grades 5-12 in all subject areas. A Little Bit About Me...
