I am a recent graduate from Miami University. I have a degree in Adolescent/Young Adult Social Studies Education and my teaching certification is currently pending. I have over 60 credit hours completed towards a degree in music. My focus as a music student was voice, but I also spent a lot of time studying African American music. Prior to college, I spent 7 years as a percussionist. Combining many of my experiences was time spent in Miami's Urban Teaching Cohort. My comments on tutoring Spanish : I teach Spanish level I at Grove City High School but am qualified to teacher higher levels as well. I like to teach using interactive tools like conversation and games to make learning fun and encourage students to use the language in everyday situations.

At Grove City High School I teach using the textbook series "¡Así se Dice!", but I can adapt tutoring to each student's needs based on his or her classroom materials and level of Spanish.
I am a second year Spanish teacher at Grove City High School where I teach Spanish Level I.
