I graduated with a degree in Physical Science Education, which gives me a strong background in Physical Sciences and in math. I have worked with children and youth of all age levels and nearly every ability. I ran an afterschool program for the Salvation Army, ran a boys home for troubled boys and worked in St. Paul City schools as a substitute teacher and a night teacher at an evening school. During my 35-year of teaching, I spent 30 years teaching everything from Alg. 1, Geometry, Alg. 2, Trig., Statistics. I was also a math department chair for 5+ years. In that capacity I wrote curriculum for local and county districts. I also lead my department and county in choosing texts. I worked on committees at the county level in training teachers.
