I'm very eager to teach. I love to be able to help children succeed and learn new things. I do whatever it takes to make this happen, and adjust my style as needed for each student. I like to make a difference, especially through education.
After receiving my bachelor's degree, I went to school part time to work on my Master's degree while subbing in area schools. I accepted a position as a teaching assistant, and two long term positions. I also tutored a junior high school student in all subjects.

As a recent graduate, I was driven to achieve a high level of excellence. I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Management, which has provided me with insight to numerous areas of interest such as math, science, and english. Due to the student enrollment we actually had 1 certified teacher with 2 Teaching Assistants and one Teacher Aide. For the last 8 yrs while employed within the education field, I worked in this position.I was considered the teacher for 6-12 of the special needs students with both behavior and learning Disabilities. Writing lesson plans, grading and evaluating my students academics and ensuring they met NYS Education requirements for graduation with 5 of them getting a high school diploma the first year I taught as the teacher.

While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.
I love teaching and working with children and adults. I, myself have achieved a high level of excellence in education by completing two degrees and plan on completing my BS in Nursing. I believe in teaching through demonstration and by providing an optimal atmosphere for learning. I strive to make a difference in other peoples' lives and that is why I chose to become a nurse.

I very much enjoy teaching both children and young adults. It gives me great satisfaction in helping others achieve a higher level of knowledge and skills. In addition, I feel that tutoring is a two-way street, whereby both the student learns material from the tutor, while at the same time the tutor learns how to better present the material in a way that is conducive for the student's learning.
