My comments on tutoring Elementary Grammar : I concentrate on students not only writing correctly, but also speaking correctly. Students who struggle orally typically struggle with writing, too. Students must be able to express themselves and also the concepts that they are learning orally and then in writing using correct grammar. I spent almost 9 years teaching English grammar in China.

I am very active in the classroom and I believe in making learning fun and enjoyable. There are so many ways to help children learn, yet many of them are not used for one reason or another. If information must be memorized, I like to put it to song or a rap. Other methods of learning that are very useful are concept maps, discussions, and performing. Another very successful method that I've employed is having the student actually teach me rather than me teach the student. It is VERY effective.
I've got around 8 years of college and university work under my belt, and I am getting ready to finish a BA in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. I love teaching. Inspired Educational Help!

I first want to start out by saying that I have a passion for what I do. I have over seven years of experience as a tutor and mentor and it has been a very rewarding experience. I am currently a Secondary/Special Education Graduate student and am enjoying the process of learning more about the field. A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently enrolled at Walden University finishing up my PhD in Clinical Psychology-(Teaching component); I am working on My dissertation for my PhD in Psychology from NorthCentral University. I have been working with online students for over ten years helping them with reading, math and other studies. At times there maybe a need to meet in person if the student is having a hard time grasping the information via internet. I am willing to meet in person but it has to be scheduled and there will be an additional $10.00 dollar charge applied monthly.
