I have been a teacher at Blue Mountain High School for three years. Prior to that I taught at Reading High School for two years. In addition, I was a mathematics aide for a year at Schuylkill Valley High School. In all my experience, I have taught everything from Algebra I to Calculus. Earning my Master's degree last year, gave some more strategies to use and develop both in and out of the classroom. Just to show an example, the pythagorus theorem is really useful to work around were we make use of the hypotenuse to walk less from point a to b rather than going through the path.

I decided early on in my college experience that I wanted to major in mathematics. I worked hard for four years taking a variety of math classes that ended with my senior seminar project that showed how math can be used to project how deadly a disease can be. I earned my BS in Mathematics with a 3.9 GPA in the spring of 2009. I tutored younger college students for about a year in subjects like Calculus 1 and 2, Trigonometry, PreCalculus, and Algebra.
I love teaching other people and I really get a sense of satisfaction when they are able to understand what I have taught them.
