My comments on tutoring Computer Programming : I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics and have experience teaching undergraduates and graduates.

Laid back.
My diverse skills and experience in mathematics, statistics, and computer programming should be advantageous in this circumstance. I have worked with mathematical software and statistical models since 1989 and love doing collaborative statistical and mathematical research to solve challenging problems. I hold a PhD in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Statistics. I recently worked as an independent machine learning consultant. In this capacity, I dealt routinely with HMM (Hidden Markov) models, neural networks, and LSA and LDA analysis of text data. This work consisted of programming in C++, Perl and Python and also required mastery of mathematical theory such as forecasting, Markov chains, stochastic processes, Bayesian statistics, and operators on Hilbert space. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught accounting and business math at NH Technical COllege. I have also been substitute teaching at the local schools. I have taught at Essom Central School, Three Rivers School, Deerfield School, and the Pembroke Academy.
I do love to work with both adults and kids. I really enjoy the substitute teaching and am going to get my teaching certificate this sping. I like to have the students try and figure it out themselves and give help if I need. to.
