A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught in many environments under many circumstances. My work as a geometry tutor for a 10th grade enabled me to learn to explore teaching methods that best suited him. As a TA, I reviewed concepts that helped reiterate important biological facts. Because my boss was a Biology Education specialist, she taught us teaching methods like hands-on activities and an inquisitive teaching style that makes concepts stick. For outreach, I acted as a museum docent to groups of students (K-12), catering each exhibit to the age level of each group. I also worked as a science summer camp counselor. These experiences have enabled me to learn my own teaching style and understand the best methods for each age group, kids to young adults.
