My forte is adapting to the individual student. I have an inate ability to deciper the way each student's mind absorbs knowledge and I am flexible enough in my methodology to adjust to the necessary path. Although my approach is always conctructivist, my teaching methods vary from child to child. I was raised in the urban decay of the oldest neighboorhood in the country,yet private-school educated. Naturally I would set goals and objectives (Independent Educational Plan). Depending if the individual's assets or deficits (weaknesses) would determine my teaching style. It was determined by the type of approach that would benefit the individual best. Some people are visual versus audtory, or hands on learners.
