I have taught English and Composition for over twenty years at the junior high, high school, and college level. In addition, I have worked in publications and taught desktop publishing and writing at the high school and college level, and have worked directly as a managing editor for college publications.

I am currently student teaching as an English as a Second Language teacher through the Masters program at Hamline University and will be applying for my teaching license in March, 2010. I have extensive experience working with non-native English speakers both inside and outside the classroom. I also have spent over 10 years studying French and spent a semester abroad in France, so I am familiar with all the aspects of language learning both as student and as a teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a Substitute Teacher for the past four years. I teach for grades K-12, and assist in special education. I also taught English to students while I stayed in Thailand. I especially enjoy working with Elementary students. I love to see students grow and learn new things.
I love helping students learn new information. Having studied Psychology, I find everyone interesting, and love to learn what makes them "tick".
