I love teaching and working with all children. I seem to have a great raport with children and can communicate with them very well. Many children have no one with whom can sit down with them and give them the one on one time and attention that it takes to help them to achieve their academic levels. I truly try to reach all of my students. My love of learning and love of working with students has motivated me to continue my education. I have earned a BA in Mus Ed (k-12) and a MA in Counseling, both school counseling and community agency counseling. I also am a private piano instructor as well as the Minister of Music at my church. My passion in life is to work with children. I love helping children learn and to see the "light bulb" go off in their head. I believe that all children can learn, but they learn in many different ways. My motto for teaching is "Learning to discover, and discovering to learn." I can sit and lecture on a subject for hours, but only when the student connects with the material will learning take place. I also believe in making learning relevant and interesting to the student.
