I was a parent volunteer in my children's elementary school for 4 to 5 years. I was a substitute teacher in grades 1 thru 4. I tutuored my two children for two years. I taught summer school to first and second graders, was a teacher's assistant, and worked as a one-on-one tutor in a reading program in the elementary school.
