Vocals is one of my top subjects! I am currently a music education major with an emphasis on voice.

I have many volunteer hours stacked up working with groups of children, but I would love to teach on a more personal basis to build my one-on-one skills. I'm currently an education major at Colorado State University, and while music is my emphasis, I was always very studious in school and am well-versed in other subjects. I have received numerous academic and artistic awards, some (such as being named a Texas Music Scholar) encompass both.
For me, teaching isn't about pounding new material into their head, it's about helping them understand the material they're given and actually having fun learning. That's why my teaching style is all about fun and retention.

I believe that everything is interconnected, much like a spider web, and that if you can connect information to what interests a person, than learning can become easy, and fun, and more importantly, less stressful and more meaningful.
