A Little Bit About Me...

I achieved my BS in 3.5 years with certifications in Kindergarten and English for secondary education. I have employed multiple skills to teach many disciplines to students. My interest in Science and Technology encouraged not only students to learn, but other teachers to request my expertise. I have tutored many students, generally those needing special services, but I have also created strategies for parents and challenging work for more gifted students.
No person learns identically to anyone else, therefore I approach pupils from their learning styles. As a journalist, I value communication skills. I have 4 years of professional experience in the fields of marketing, public relations and communications. I love sharing my love of the English language with others. Last school year I tutored a kindergartener in reading and vocabulary.
I enjoy working with children because they are more open to learning. To me, there is nothing more fulfilling than when a child grasps concepts he or he previously struggled with.
