I have been tutoring since high school. I began as a tutor during summer school for students on track to graduate. Now I work as a peer tutor at SUNY Orange, tutoring a range of subjects in Math and Science primarily. I use a lot of repetition and the asking of questions to ensure that students are learning concepts. I also try to give them analogies to help them remember things. I love working with children, as the oldest in a big family, I have often served as caretaker while my father is at work. I currently have an 8 year old younger brother who I'm working with as well as one in his Sophomore year of High school. I'm helping him with algebra and pre-calc.
