I can make learning fun, No Doubt!

I am a junior at EKU working toward my Bachelor of Science. Education major with concentrations in Math and English. I have learned to accommodate individual learning needs and I find the results very rewarding!

As a Purdue graduate, I was the recipient of the highest level of instruction in math and science. As an undergraduate I was named on the Dean’s list six times and was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In order to be granted this degree I was required to gain a great understanding in many areas of math and science. I have worked in after school programs tutoring children throughout my college career. Then after my college career I taught 3rd Grade at Peaks Mill Elementary School in Frankfort, KY. I have worked with students of all levels and had special needs students in my class. All my class work was differentiated to meet the needs of each student.
I believe all students learn differently and what we need to reach all students is to find out how they learn best and find a way to reach them that they will prove to be successful in. There are a lot of ways to reach students and when you find that one perfect way it all clicks.
