I have a degree in elementary education with endorsements in reading and history. I also greatly enjoy teaching writing. I taught Pre-K for two years with a focus on reading, writing, and math. I was a nanny for a year for five and seven year old. I would assist with homework and practice reading skills. I feel that each child needs to feel appreciated and successful. My sessions include, of course, language, music, or speech, but I also work in philosophy, history, and technology. I feel that students of today are not receiving as much well rounded education as they desire, or need, for the future workplace or self-satisfaction.
