I have 10 years field experience studying whale and dolphin habitat use, foraging behavior, and human interaction occurances. I also have a strong background in terrestrial wildlife conservation and natural resource policy. I am a Phi Theta Kappa life member as well as a member of the Ecological Society of America (ESA). My two-year degrees gave me a strong background in both English and Humanity studies. A Little Bit About Me...

After receiving my teaching credential from Biola University, I eagerly accepted a permanent substitute position at Mission Hills Chrisitian School. The following year, I was asked to teach science along with several other subjects in the junior high school. I thoroughly enjoyed this position for three years until the birth of our son. During my years teaching junior high, I had the pleasure of tutoring several students in math, reading, and study skills. I have been blessed with the honor of homeschooling my two boys for the past six years. My older son has dyslexia, and I began tutoring him with the Barton reading and spelling system this year. I have also taught history classes at our local homeschool co-op for both junior high and high school.
