While at the University of Tulsa I have tutored in both math and chemistry, so I have experience with those subjects in particular. Though I received a bachelors in Psychology I was also pre-med, so I was required to take several heavy science courses as well. As such I am also proficient in several biological subjects.
Generally I will try to ask questions to see which specific points a student needs assistance with and make sure they understand the material on a fundamental level. I also believe that practice and hands-on experiences teach the most, so there tends to be an emphasis on working through problems step-by-step than lecturing. Ultimately I am flexible, and can change my style and routine to accommodate the students' needs.

My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : Math is one of my strongest and favorite subjects

My tutoring experience has begun in college, when I would assist with Japanese and math lessons between classes and the campus job. In May I will receive my BS in Elementary Education with a TESL concentration. I have always enjoyed teaching as well as learning. Throughout my time at Oral Roberts University I was able to assist teachers as well as teach lessons in the classrooms each semester for 3 years.
