As a recent graduate of BYU in Business Management (finance emphasis) I have been able to show excellence in my own school work. I have a major GPA of 3.85 (including many Accounting and Finance classes) as well as receiving a 4.0 while taking the “finance core” classes. Receiving a score of “5” on both the Calculus AB and BC tests during high school prepared me for college. Previous tutoring includes training new workers for employment positions (including a customer service representative and a restaurant position). While serving a 2-year mission for the LDS church I was able to train other missionaries. Therefore, if the students don't have material prepared that they would like to study with me, I can quickly compose exercises for them to do. I ask a lot of questions and try to get the students to figure out the solutions themselves. When they get stuck I give subtle hints until the light bulb goes off. I often explain a concept and then have students watch me solve a problem, then have them do one themselves.
