I am a resident artist. I have been an artist for the last 12 years. I have sold my art works in cafes and galleries in cities in: Washington, DC, Chicago, Milwaukee and Virginia. The mediums, I use are: oil pastels, Acrylic paints, ceramics, recycle materials, jewelry materials and more. I have taught children and adults of all ages. When I first attended college I studied elementary education. I put my education on hold to stay at home and raise my children. During that time I was a compulsive volunteer with different support groups within the school system. I decided to complete my education as my children got older and received my bachelors degree and continued to take classes so that I am now able to sit for my CPA and I have also completed the necessary undergraduate requirement in order to teach business classes. I enjoy working with a wide variety of kids. Every child has the ability to be sucessful if they are reached in the right way, and that is my goal in teaching. Patience plays a large role in finding the correct learning method for each child and that is where I shine.
