I am a fan of Howard Gardner- I believe each student has his/her own learning style. Knowing these learning styles can help both teacher and student accomplish academic success. I also believe in a gradual release of responsibility on the student's part. Teaching vocabulary before the actual lesson can help the student understand more completely.

I have a Master's Degree in Creative Writing and I am currently attending Southern New Hampshire University to obtain a Master's Degree in Education. My comments on tutoring Writing : I see writing as a necessity and a strong tool for communication that all students need, no matter what career they eventually choose to pursue.

I recently graduated from Gordon College with a degree in English Literature and a concentration in Creative Writing. I manage two personal blogs, which include my non-fiction stories, poetry, and artwork, and I have published 5 different articles for various Gordon journals.
