I fundamentally believe anyone can learn. If a student isn’t grasping a concept, it just means I have to change my style of teaching. So what is my teaching style…anything that helps a student achieve his or her potential. But the one thing I teach all my students is how to find their learning style. Once you know how you retain information you can do anything.

I helped students learn to express themselves in writing, combining an emphasis on proper grammar with the recognition of each writer’s individual voice. I am a recent graduate of Fordham University, where I majored in Film Studies and minored in Visual Arts. During my time there I honed my skills in painting, graphic design, filmmaking and writing (both creative and academic). Recently I worked with the Tribeca Film Institute on the Tribeca Teaches program, coordinating the in class production of seven short documentaries made by middle and high school students in the South Bronx and Brooklyn that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
