I earned a bachelor degree in Mathematics and have worked in Information Technology for over 25 years. I have strong technical skills with an excellent understanding of Microsoft tools including MS Office SharePoint. Even as a student i helped my fellow students to understand and grasp the subjects they were having difficulty with. i can generaly spinn the information into a subject matter that interests the individual or just explain it in an easier to understand manner, offted they just get lolst in the language of teaching. i minnored in math, and majorred in science and agriculture in high school, ansd took veternary technology in colledge this involved mostly biologies and lab technigues. i have never taught professionaly, but have assisted fellow students. the methods i useed to help them were ither to incorporate the subject matter into a sumject that they had a personal interest in, or manny time i found that they just didnot understand the language of the subject so i reexplained it in simpler terms and they got it just fine.

I love teaching. Tutoring has been my favorite job so far, and although I was unable to continue working with Tutor.com due to time restrictions, I now am free to work with students and would like to tutor again. During my undergraduate career I discovered my passion for teaching. I also discovered that being an educator in the sciences is particularly tricky because it deals with some of the most abstract information with seemingly little real world application. Most people struggle with the sciences and, in their frustration, often give up. My philosophy for teaching has always been to do whatever it takes to keep my students interested and engaged.
