My name is Andrea Richards. I have been teaching in the elementary school for 27 years. I have been a certified Reading Interventionist since 2005. At that time I was trained in Reading Recovery. Reading Comprehension is one of my top subjects! I am a 28-year veteran teacher and reading specialist trained in the Orton Gillingham methodology for teaching students with dyslexia and other reading deficits. I have been a reading interventionist for over 8 years in the classroom and began one-on-one teaching last year when I retired.
