Graphic Design is one of my top subjects! I have been a graphic designer for 10 years and have real world experience with clients. I have done work for Solo Cup, Target, Sesame Street, Kroger, Aldi and Starbucks.

I like to draw students out with questions and get them thinking for themselves. In order to handle situations in the real world one needs appropriate problem solving skills. When I show something to a student I want them to repeat what I've just done and then explain why this works - but I want them to also try and find another way that will work. (If there is one)
I have worked in the graphic design/advertising field for 10 years and have been drawing all my life. I run the gamut from Photoshop and Illustrator to pencil, charcoal and watercolor. I think it's important to know how to build a file well so that it is enabled for printing, while not compromising creativity. With drawing it is important to draw what you see before you can invent. Anatomy is important.

Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I started tutoring in my teens helping young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders develop English and Math skills as well as speech therapy and public speaking. I tutored my fellow students while attending Carroll Community College in English 101 and 102 as well as Creative Writing. I then moved on to being a one on one with high school students with special needs in the Baltimore area.
I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I feel that young students learn best when they can physically learn, such as through blocks/puzzles/interactive learning devices and other similar approaches. I try to let the student use their hands as much as I can to aid in their learning process. I am young creative and talented artist perfecting my craft everyday. I started dealing with computers in 2005 when I was in high school studying computer programming. When I graduated I moved to the major of graphic design, when I got to college it showed me that I really had a love for art. Production wise I have completed many projects of promotional and marketing advertisements. Advertising is one of my major strengths also photo touchup/manipulation. I have a gift of being able to get the best out of someone, I was employed at a Homeless shelter in MD and before I moved on I can say 12 males went to further their education from the facility. I also coach high school football and every year 60% of my seniors go to college to chase their dreams and education.
