I am Ohio Northern University graduate and have a major in mathematics and a minor in secondary education. I have taught high school mathematics for four years. I have held positions of CFO, controller, and divisional analyst which enabled me to gain extensive experience in the private sector of business and advanced technical skills in microsoft excel and various accounting systems. Presently, I am an adjunct instructor at teaching college algebra. I enjoy teaching and believe that anyone can learn mathematics if given the proper help and assistance. This gives me a unique view of the accounting world and different ways to use accounting information while complying with state and federal laws. I believe in trying to help kids learn the big picture. Kids are highly intelligent and are capable of handling large amounts of information. I would say that it is a little more toward laid back. Being over 6" tall, stocky, pushing hard, being an ogre, hard-nosed, that isn't going to work for me. People have a tendency to be a bit intimidated and fearful because of my size.
