After graduating from Clyde High school, I went on to Ohio State Mansfield, where I majored in psychology and special education. I am currently a full time student at Ashford University online. I am studying to become an advocate for special needs persons and children. I have been tutoring students professtionally for the past year. I specialize in reading and math. My teaching style would depend on the student whom I am teaching. I have found that most people learn in different ways, so I plan to use my Psychology skills to help determine the best method for each client. In most cases, I find it very important that a student understands the reasoning behind each step of a process in order to fully understand the entire method. I will walk these clients through the numerous steps one at a time until they are confident enough to move on.
