I have a bachelors degree in Economics with a concentration in mathematics. I have been tutoring all of my life. I've tutored children, college students, and adults. Children can understand visually, verbally or in written form. Each child has different ways of understanding a particular subject and it is important to find out how the child wants to be tutored very early. My style is to have a candid discussion with the child in order to ascertain why the child is having problems with a particular subject and how that child expects to be able to be taught.
