Working with kids is my fascination. I believe that teaching children should not be standing up and lecturing or simply explaining something. Its about getting to know the students, making the students feel important and unique in their own special way and most importantly I believe a teacher should be a role model. The teacher must adjust his or her teaching approach to the way the student will learn what’s being taught to them not the other way around. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area. An understanding of literary elements can also enhance a child's understanding of literature and reading.
