A Little Bit About Me...

Having graduated with a BS in Mathematics I am now continuing my passion for learning while pursuing a masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia. My liberal arts degree from Hillsdale College has given me extensive work in all areas of learning. In the past eight years I have taught music theory and piano lessons, tutored Junior High School - University students in Mathematics and English, and instructed Halfway House residents in Mathematics, English, and Sciences in pursuit of obtaining a GED.
I have always been passionate about working with different students and finding their unique learning strategies. I am supportive and very patient, but persistent in the achieving success for the student. My ultimate goal is above teaching subjects. I love interacting with people in a personal setting. I believe that all students have the ability to learn anything they put their mind to if it is presented to them in a manner that makes sense. A Little Bit About Me...

I hold a Ph.D. in Classics, a multidisciplinary field that focuses on all aspects of the ancient Greek and Roman world. I have mastered Latin and Ancient Greek, and can read Spanish, German, French, and Italian. During my five years working full-time at various universities, I taught literature, history, mythology, archeology, and all levels of Greek and Latin.
