My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : I use this program regularly and I also teach technology classes to students grades K-8 in a private school.

I believe my patience and creativity allows children to feel comfortable with their own learning needs. I work with them and help them find their unique learning style. We then build on that style to build their confidence and ability. All children can learn once we find their unique learning "channel".
I have been a Special Education Teacher for 15 years and an administrator for 5 years. I have taught at both the elementary, intermediate and high school levels. I have worked with students who have been severely cognitively disabled and those that have had multiple attention and behavioral concerns. Microsoft Excel is one of my top subjects!

I have experience working with college-aged students, but am willing to work with all ages. I have a great working knowledge of all entry level mathematics including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, up through pre-calculus. Adjuvant to demonstration, motivation and enthusiasm to learn the material must be taught. All the homework in the world cannot replace this! Regrettably, students often struggle due to poor instruction or vague textbooks which erode a student’s motivation. Fortunately this can be overcome with a little outside assistance.
