As a teacher, I know that each student/ person learns in a different manner. Due to this my teaching methods vary with every person. Once I graduated I was immediately hired as a long term substitute teacher in South Georgia. I wasn't offered a teaching job for the next school year so I moved here to Spartanburg, SC. I obtained a job at a headstart and a tutoring facility.Then in November 2012 I was hired on at SC School for the Deaf and the Blind. I have taught and tutored many students and adults in a variety of subjects. I enjoy tutoring in math the most because I love this subject. Although this is my favorite, I still enjoy helping people excel in troubling subject areas.

Enrolled in GED classes in late January 2011 and completed the courses within a week and took my GED 2 weeks later and passed in all fields with high scores or exceeding scores. Im 17 but willing to work hard and do everything I can to make sure the student passes and even exceeds on their GED. I have experience in GED classes and with the test since I have taken it and exceeded it recently.

As an instructional assistant for kindergarden I was responsible for assisting the classroom teacher with daily instrucion and activities. I provided individual instruction when needed and assisted in developing behavior modificaion plans. I enjoy working with elementary aged children. I believe that all children want to learn but all have individual styles that an instructor must recognize. You can actually see the "a-ha" factor when a child has processed and understood something.
