I've experienced continued success with my teaching strategies which I have to vary hourly due to the diversity of the student population I work with. I am happy to offer individual training or will work with a group as large as 20. I hold a current certification in Business Education, grades 6-12. I work in a high school alternative setting, my students may be diploma bound or they make be working toward taking the GED. I have been teaching Professional Development classes at McNeese State University for the past 11 years. Those classes include MS Word (varying levels), MS Powerpoint (varying levels), MS Access (varying levels, and Beginning Windows.

As a native of Louisiana, I thrive on education. I attended McNeese State University from 1986-2010. I earned a B.S. and M. Ed. in Health and Physical Education, in which I taught H & PE for 15 years. I earned a Masters +30 in Administration and Supervision. I have many certificates in Microsoft Office and I am a certified Educational Technology Facilitator. For the past five years, I have been an Administrative Intern at an elementary school in Calcasieu Parish. During my 20 year teaching career, I have tutored LEAP/iLEAP students for the past eight years. I love teaching and working with all students. I believe that everyone has a different learning and teaching style. I am flexible, yet firm, in my approach to teaching and learning.
