Reading Comprehension is one of my top subjects! I have worked for a few years with a tutoring and literacy company as the reading comprehension teacher. I have excelled in teaching reading comprehension and teach the skills required to take tests similar to the TAKS/STARR tests.

For years I have worked with elementary age children. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : As a tutor of 10th- and 11th-grade foreign exchange students, I have found that advancing their reading and reading comprehension skills serves as a prelude to massaging their competency in writing. I am also hired each year by Pearson Education, Inc. to assess the reading comprehension skills of fifth graders taking the Ohio Achievement Assessment (OAA test).

I advocate a "hands-on" approach that affords students an opportunity to feel as if they are teaching themselves and I am there only to facilitate the process.
