I have plenty of experience working on personal, university, and job related projects. Notable projects I have worked on would include creating a mobile study app for the Genetic Counseling degree at Boise State University, creating a back-end staff directory service/database for the New York Public Library, and plenty of Flutter projects.
I prefer to teach by doing, as I believe that performing tasks and becoming familiar with the process is more beneficial than wrote memorization or written assignments/quizzes. I like to get to know my student, where they are in their studies, and what they feel they need to work on versus what they already know.

As a graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts and sciences I have a vast understanding of the principles and science behind music and sound. I am a practicing audio engineer that can record anything from a classical piano to a solo rap artist. I have a unique approach to teaching because my background is both analytical (numbers and science) and imaginative (theater and literature). While classroom training is my forte, I also have a solid background in teaching online. This combination is particularly useful since no two children learn in the same way. I do not believe any student is dumb. If he or she has struggled picking up a concept, it is more likely because the right method of teaching has not yet been explored. Over the past year I have tutored through The College of Idaho's Chemistry Club. Chemistry, especially the math portions, never came easily to me. I had to work hard and spend hours asking professors questions, but now I am much better at chemistry because of it. As a tutor I wanted to help fellow students who were struggling as I had.
Just telling a child how to do a problem is not effective. I believe a teacher needs to explain the logic and reasoning behind solving certain problems certain ways.
