Experiential learning is my preferred style with emphasis on group work and collaboration at the graduate school level
Over thirty years of college teaching experiences for a number of universities to include Florida Institute of Technology and Central Michigan University. The most recent contract was to teach MSA 600, Foundations of Research Methods in Adminstration for CMU at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, Summer 2015. I also served as a trainer and training supervisor for over 20 years at the U S Army Quartermaster Center and School, Fort LEE, VA. From January to June 2015 I served as the Campaign Chair for the Living Our Mission Fund Drive at St Joseph Catholic Church, Petersburg, VA. We exceeded our campaign goal of $760000 by raising $1.075 million in cash and pledges.

I am a recent high school graduate. I graduated in the top fourth of my class. My GPA is a 3.48. My best subject is math. I enjoy helping and working with others to help them succeed. I completed a class in high school named Teach Cadet where I learned the basics about education and the importance of being a versatile teacher. I was able to work with children from head start to elementary level. I also was a member of two organizations at school where I worked with sixth graders about the importance of goals and worked with fourth graders about the importance of team work.
I try to adapt to the way the student prefers. I understand that there are various ways people obtain and grasp knowledge.

I have recently graduated from Virginia Tech where I majored in Biological Sciences. This included biology, physics, and chemistry as focus points. My tutoring experience has been volunteer work. Throughout my academic career I have always helped others, from explaining difficult concepts to peer reviewing papers in college. Education has always been one of my greatest facinations. I achieved a BA in English grammars, a MLA in creative writing, and fifteen credits towards a PhD in literature and literary criticism. I discovered the writing center at my undergraduate university and became a tutor immediately. I found that I was in a position to learn just as much at the students I tutored. Over the past twelve years, I have continued that facination with learning in voluntary tutoring sessions.
I believe in the program of teaching across the curriculum.
