My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : This is a subject that has been close to my heart, since elementary school. I love to read and write, and have written many essays and short stories. I have studied creative writing, and would like to some day become an author.

Graduated from Staunton School of Cosmetology, Staunton, Va. 1980. Have had my own cosmetology business from then to the present. Southside Community College, massage therapy, included anatomy and physiology, 2013. Studied business and teaching, at VCU, 1971-72, did not complete degree program.

I completed a class in high school named Teach Cadet where I learned the basics about education and the importance of being a versatile teacher. For the last seven years, I have taught and tutored English to adults who speak other languages. In the last two years, I have added tutoring students in grades 3-12. While teaching English as a Second Language at a local college, I was a lead lab instructor for two years. Students work with me on pronunciation, reading, writing and grammar.
